Still unsure? Every check runs the same privacy-first pipeline — nothing is stored unless you explicitly publish it.
It depends on the mode. Lossless compression removes redundant data with zero visible quality loss (smaller gains, ~10-20%). Lossy compression discards some data for much bigger savings (50-70%+); at sensible quality settings (our default is 80) the difference is imperceptible to the eye.
